Adow G. Hassen injured in Phelps County semi-truck accident
PHELPS, MO, (October 29, 2023) - Adow G. Hassen was injured in a semi-truck accident on Sunday on Interstate 44 in Phelps County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), Hassen was a passenger in a Kenworth tractor-trailer that went off the left side of the highway at about 7:48 a.m. and collided with another big rig that had been left in the median from an earlier crash. Hassan, 25, was taken to Phelps Health for treatment of his injuries.

A teen driver died early Friday after crashing his car along Interstate 95 in north Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Shortly after 1:30 a.m., troopers responded to investigate the crash in the area of mile marker 273 near Ormond Beach. At the scene, they determined that a man driving northbound in a Kia Forte traveled off of the interstate, where the car struck a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder of the road.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Police Department said it is investigating a crash that left one person with life-threatening injuries. Police said they responded to Jamestown Parkway near North Scientific Street around 1:07 a.m. on Friday, for a report of a crash with injuries. At the scene, investigators said one car had a mechanical issue and was stopped partially in the Eastbound travel lane. They said the driver got out of the vehicle and was standing in the road.

DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - A hit-and-run incident on Interstate 595 claimed the life of one person Thursday night. The crash occurred just east of Nob Hill Road in Davie around 10:45 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the victim was struck while changing a tire. The incident led to the temporary closure of all lanes on the interstate, but they have since been reopened. Authorities now need the public’s help for any information that could assist in their investigation.

Two women were killed when they were hit by a vehicle while pushing their disabled car across the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The crash happened at 12:50 a.m. Sunday in Selma. Dallas County Coroner Alan Dailey said three women were in a Honda Accord driving over the bridge when it broke down. Two of them got out to try to push the car, while the third – the daughter of one of the fatality victims - was behind the wheel steering.

At around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, the California Highway Patrol received a call about a Nissan Altima blocking the middle lanes of northbound I-5 just south of State Route 163 near downtown. That is when a Nissan Versa crashed into it and stopped between two left lanes facing east. That is when four people inside the Nissan Versa exited and stood in the traffic lanes, CHP said.
