Washington Co, PA – Man Hit & Killed in Roadside Accident on Hwy 22 at I-576
Washington County, PA (August 26, 2025)— A 46-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle while addressing a mechanical issue on his car along a busy roadway in Washington County, officials said. According to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, the victim had been operating a commercial truck and pulled over to the right of the fog line on the entrance ramp from U.S. Highway 22 to Interstate 576 to check a mechanical problem.

GIBSONTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was struck by a car and thrown off a bridge in a fatal I-75 crash in Gibsonton on Sunday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol said at around 5:37 a.m., a 35-year-old Spring Hill man, driving a Honda Civic, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on southbound I-75. Another vehicle, a Mazda, driven by a 20-year-old Kentucky woman, was also traveling southbound on I-75 and collided with a Nissan Pathfinder, driven by a 22-year-old Brandon woman.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Seven people were injured, including two juveniles, after a multi-vehicle wreck early Saturday morning on Interstate 24 West in Montgomery County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The crash happened just before 1 a.m. near Exit 3. According to THP, an SUV was stopped in the left lane due to a disabled vehicle. A second car was behind the SUV. Another vehicle swerved to avoid the stopped traffic and began rotating and hit both vehicles.

The collision occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 24, 2025, on I-85 southbound near mile marker 29, when a vehicle became disabled on the interstate which caused a secondary accident when the disabled vehicle was struck by a semi-truck, resulting in an explosion. “Tragically, one fatality has been confirmed,” Hogansville Police Chief Jeffrey Sheppard said.

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Friday evening crash on KY 10 left one person dead and four others injured when a disabled vehicle was struck by another car, according to Kentucky State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. near the 4000 block of KY 10. 62-year-old Brian Heron from Maysville was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mason County Coroner. KSP stated that a preliminary investigation determined that Heron was attempting to push his disabled red Chevrolet Corvette out of the road when a black Chevrolet Trailblazer struck him.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a multi-vehicle crash in Spartanburg County left one person dead on Wednesday. Just before 6:30 a.m., a crash involving two vehicle occurred near 3060 Highway 101 near Greer, according to the coroner. Highway Patrol said a disabled dump truck was stopped in the middle of the road when a 1997 GMC truck rear-ended the dump truck. The driver of the GMC truck died at the scene.

Lawrence County, MO — August 15, 2025, John Miller was killed in a truck accident at about 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 44 near Mount Vernon. Authorities said a 2024 Toyota RAV4 was heading east when it hit a deer near mile marker 48. A passenger and the SUV were hit by a semi-truck after to the driver stopped to move the deer out of the road. The truck overturned after the collision.

A serious early morning crash on Interstate 35 near Guthrie could have ended in tragedy, but the driver involved walked away unharmed. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) says around 4 a.m., a semi truck struck a disabled vehicle that had been left in the right lane of the highway after the driver hit a deer. According to OHP, the driver moved to the side of the road after his vehicle became disabled.

Marietta police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a tractor-trailer driver. It happened Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 northbound near S. Marietta Pkwy. Police said there was an accident between two tractor-trailers. When the drivers got out of their trucks, a driver in a separate passenger car hit one of them. He was identified as Terrell Loudermilk, 36, from Chattanooga, Tenn. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver did not stop.
