Three children found alive after car crash that killed parents
A couple who went missing with their three young children on Christmas Day has been found dead after their car crashed in country Western Australia, police have confirmed. Their children, aged five, two and two months old, were found alive at the scene of the crash. The two-month-old baby has suffered serious injuries, police say. Cindy Braddock, 25, and her partner, Jake Day, 28, left Northam at 1am Christmas Day to travel with their three children.

POLK COUNTY, Iowa — A man is dead following a crash in Polk County early Christmas morning, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. A Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 when it veered off the roadway and rear-ended an unoccupied semi-truck parked on the shoulder near mile marker 140 around 2:11 a.m. The driver of the Sonata, 54-year-old Anthony Marco Mullenberg, of Des Moines, died in the crash.

Three people are expected to survive after they were struck outside their disabled vehicle Thursday night on state Highway 14. Washington State Patrol troopers were responding to a crash between a car and an attenuator around 8 p.m. near the Lieser Road exit. The vehicle flipped and hit the median barrier. The three people inside the vehicle got out, and shortly after they were hit by another vehicle that had lost control on the ice, according to WSP Trooper Dakota Russell.

While the drivers of both the vehicles involved in the wreck were talking, another vehicle turned onto the street. This vehicle struck one of the drivers, pinning them between two vehicles.

WEST ALLIS — Today a fatal accident happened on Interstate 41/894 northbound in West Allis at National Avenue. Reportedly two drivers got out of their cars after the crash happened. The sheriff’s office says just after 9 a.m., two cars got into an accident and pulled over. A third person stopped to help the driver, and a woman involved in the initial crash got out of their cars when investigators say another vehicle, a fourth one, struck them both.

SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, turnpike personnel and first responders from several agencies responded to a multi-vehicle crash on the Ohio Turnpike on Friday afternoon that left four dead and many injured. The crash happened eastbound between State Route 53 and State Route 4 in Sandusky County and eventually stretched into Erie County. Forty-six vehicles were involved in the crash, according to OSHP Sgt. Ryan Purpura. At least three of the four victims were in different vehicles.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/Gray News) – A man in Kentucky died while helping a stranded driver on the highway around 6:45 p.m. Thursday. According to the coroner, 75-year-old George Lucas was driving on U.S. 27 when he spotted a car on the side of the road. The driver had run out of gas. Lucas pulled over to help push that person’s car to a nearby gas station to get fuel.

PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - One person died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 55 Thursday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:50 p.m. at mile marker 20.8 and involved a commercial vehicle and a passenger car. The crash report states a 2009 Kia Spectra ran off the road, hit the cable barrier and stopped in the road. A 2023 Volvo Tractor then hit the Kia.

White, of St. Pauls, was traveling in a vehicle that crashed along the interstate close to 6 p.m. After the wreck, White exited the vehicle, attempted to cross the roadway, and was hit by a pickup truck.

The accident scene is at the southwest corner of where Six Flags Great America is located. State police said a pedestrian had been driving earlier and had been involved in a two-vehicle crash.
