1 pedestrian dead, 1 injured after vehicle hits median in Forsyth County
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly vehicle crash involving two pedestrians Friday morning. Authorities were called to Peachtree Parkway around 7:00 a.m. after at least two people were struck by a Toyota Prius. The Toyota was traveling in the southbound lanes and made a sudden left turn onto the concrete median that divided the roadway,” officials said in a statement sent to FOX 5.

Harris County, TX – March 15, 2022, an Amazon truck driver died as the result of an accident where a vehicle struck them along the North Beltway. Authorities reported that the crash took place at around 12:40 a.m. in the area of North Beltway and Fairbanks North Houston. It appears that an initial collision occurred involving an Amazon 18-wheeler. The cause of that crash is unclear at this time. Authorities said that the Amazon drivers was thrown into the roadway, following which at least one vehicle apparently hit the driver, then left the scene.

(AP) — A 61-year-old man has died more than a week after a wreck that catapulted another man from an interstate highway into the Atchafalaya Basin, Louisiana State Police said Wednesday. Troopers were notified Tuesday that Charles Loving of Hammond had died from injuries sustained March 4, when the car in which he was riding was disabled by a flat tire and then hit from behind, a news release said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 73-year-old driver had a left front tire blow out on I-275 and pulled over onto the shoulder of the road.

PETERSBURG — The driver of a tractor-trailer stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 85 Saturday morning was hit by a car that state police said was unable to avoid contact. Shortly before 7:55 a.m., according to state police, a 2016 Freightliner had pulled to the side of northbound I-85 about a mile south of the I-85 split with Interstate 95. Part of the truck was still in the right travel lane when it stopped.
