Woman killed in ‘tragic incident’ while walking on I-5 in Bellingham identified
The person killed in a multi-car crash on Interstate 5 in Bellingham Tuesday night has been identified as a 52-year-old woman from Mount Vernon. Ana Hernandez Islas died after she lost control of her vehicle and hit the jersey barrier along southbound Interstate 5 in Bellingham, got out of her car and was struck by two passing cars, according to the Washington State Patrol release on the incident. Around 3:50 p.m., Mr. Sahib Singh Cheema, 61, of Lexington, was traveling eastbound on I-20 near mile marker 40 when his vehicle went off the right side of the highway and struck the rear end of a tractor trailer.

Manchester Twp NJ – On Wednesday, October 3, 2021, at approximately 2:58 am, officers from the Manchester Township Police Department responded to State Highway 37 near Mile Marker 1.5, to investigate a motor vehicle crash. It was reported that the crash involved a vehicle that struck a deer and was then struck by a tractor- trailer tanker truck, which overturned and exploded, setting the surrounding area on fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a deceased deer and a 2017 Honda Civic with extensive front-end damage in the eastbound lanes of the roadway.

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The man who died after being hit by a car on State Route 905 while trying to fix the trailer of a small fishing boat being towed by a pickup has been identified, officials said Monday. Timothy McGregor, 78, of San Diego, was the passenger of the Chevy truck towing the boat when the hitch became detached around 6:45 a.m. Saturday on westbound SR-905 just east of Interstate 5, according to the San Diego Department of the Medical Examiner.

LISBON, Md. — A 50-year-old off-duty Montgomery County police Lieutenant was killed after being hit by a truck while he was outside his car along Interstate 70 in Lisbon, Maryland. The driver of the Dodge Ram began tailgating the Jeep, would speed up and drive beside the Jeep, then slow down and get behind the Jeep.
