Robert Martin Killed in Truck Accident in Salado, TX
Salado, TX — August 3, 2025, Dallas resident Robert Martin was killed in a truck accident at about 3:25 a.m. on Interstate 35. Authorities said a 2020 Toyota RAV4 was traveling north when it hit a deer, leaving the vehicle disabled in the center lane. A northbound delivery truck knocked the Toyota over the median barrier into the southbound lanes, where it was hit by a 2015 GMC SUV. Toyota driver Robert Martin, 24, of Dallas was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

A tragic crash shut down I-10 East in St. Martin Parish on Sunday evening, leaving two women dead and sending one driver to the hospital. According to Louisiana State Police Troop I, the crash occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (Aug 3), near the interchange with Louisiana Highway 328. Vehicle Struck Parked SUV and Pedestrians Troopers say 66-year-old Cynthia Dinet of Gretna and 68-year-old Elisa Lightell of Maurice were standing near a 2019 Ford Escape that had stopped on the right shoulder of I-10.

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. A passenger died after crashing into a disabled big rig on Interstate 205 in Tracy Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash happened just after 6 a.m. on eastbound I-205 east of MacArthur Boulevard. The CHP said the driver of the Toyota drove from the first lane and across the second and third lanes toward the right shoulder, where the truck crashed into a disabled big rig. The right side of the Toyota crashed into the left rear of the trailer, and a passenger was ejected from the Toyota and died, the CHP said.

TRACY, Calif. — One person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 in Tracy Saturday morning. Dramatic video obtained by KTLA shows the moment a pickup truck slammed into another truck that had become disabled on the 118 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley overnight. Preliminary information indicates that a dark-colored truck had collided with the center divider while traveling eastbound on the freeway near Reseda Boulevard in the Porter Ranch area shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday. While that truck was stalled in the lanes, another silver truck traveling at full speed collided with it, the video showed.

HOUSTON — A Houston family is grieving the sudden loss of 31-year-old Karina Rodriguez, who was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash on I-45 North near West Road. Karina, a mother of three young girls, was pushing her disabled vehicle when a driver slammed into her and then fled the scene. “She was trying to get home, and she never made it,” said her sister, Antonia Rodriguez. Karina had just spent time with a friend before her car broke down in a moving lane.

NETHER PROVIDENCE, PA — A woman who was walking along Interstate 476 in Delaware County after her vehicle became disabled was hurt when a passing vehicle struck her early Tuesday morning. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident happened at about 4:38 a.m. near mile marker 1.6 on Interstate 476 north in Nether Providence Township. The woman, 53 and from Springfield, was walking on the white fog line on the right side of the highway after her vehicle became disabled, police said.

The incident happened at 6:10 a.m. on I-195 west near mile marker 5.5 in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, State Police said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon. The driver of a pickup truck had pulled onto the right shoulder of the highway and exited the vehicle. As he walked into a lane of traffic, he was hit by a tractor-trailer, officials said.
