1 dead, 4 injured after crash on KY 10 on Friday

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Friday evening crash on KY 10 left one person dead and four others injured when a disabled vehicle was struck by another car, according to Kentucky State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. near the 4000 block of KY 10. 62-year-old Brian Heron from Maysville was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mason County Coroner. KSP stated that a preliminary investigation determined that Heron was attempting to push his disabled red Chevrolet Corvette out of the road when a black Chevrolet Trailblazer struck him.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a multi-vehicle crash in Spartanburg County left one person dead on Wednesday. Just before 6:30 a.m., a crash involving two vehicle occurred near 3060 Highway 101 near Greer, according to the coroner. Highway Patrol said a disabled dump truck was stopped in the middle of the road when a 1997 GMC truck rear-ended the dump truck. The driver of the GMC truck died at the scene.

John Miller Killed in Truck Accident near Mount Vernon, MO

Lawrence County, MO — August 15, 2025, John Miller was killed in a truck accident at about 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 44 near Mount Vernon. Authorities said a 2024 Toyota RAV4 was heading east when it hit a deer near mile marker 48. A passenger and the SUV were hit by a semi-truck after to the driver stopped to move the deer out of the road. The truck overturned after the collision.

A serious early morning crash on Interstate 35 near Guthrie could have ended in tragedy, but the driver involved walked away unharmed. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) says around 4 a.m., a semi truck struck a disabled vehicle that had been left in the right lane of the highway after the driver hit a deer. According to OHP, the driver moved to the side of the road after his vehicle became disabled.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina trooper has died three days after he was struck by a box truck while walking back to his cruiser following a traffic stop. Truck driver stopped for wreck killed in hit-and-run on I-75

Marietta police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a tractor-trailer driver. It happened Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 northbound near S. Marietta Pkwy. Police said there was an accident between two tractor-trailers. When the drivers got out of their trucks, a driver in a separate passenger car hit one of them. He was identified as Terrell Loudermilk, 36, from Chattanooga, Tenn. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver did not stop.

At around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, a disabled vehicle was stopped partially in the left lane on northbound I-85 in Dinwiddie County when it was hit on the rear passenger side by a Chevrolet Blazer, according to Virginia State Police.

DOT Truck Driver Injured In Rockland Parkway Crash After Car Fails To Move Over: Officials

According to NYSDOT, the incident happened in the parkway’s northbound lanes when a HELP truck operator had just pulled over to assist another driver. He was seconds away from stepping out of his truck when the approaching vehicle struck, severely damaging both vehicles. MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 36-year-old from Warren is facing felony charges in a deadly hit-and-run on west I-696 early Sunday. Authorities said Nateria Smith, a 29-year-old from Madison Heights, was struck by a vehicle while she was attempting to fill her car with a gas can just after 1 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10. Investigators believe she was struck by a Chevrolet SUV that exited the freeway at Hoover Road.

SALT LAKE CITY — Three people were injured after a vehicle hit a semitruck on Interstate 80 in Tooele County, according to the Wendover Fire Department. At approximately 8:20 p.m. on Monday, a vehicle traveling westbound on I-80 near milepost 25 struck the rear of a semitruck that was parked on the right shoulder. The crash happened about 16 miles west of Knolls. The vehicle sustained significant damage, injuring all three occupants.
