Fort Worth crash involving 18-wheeler shuts down eastbound I-30
FORT WORTH, Texas - Police are investigating a deadly crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth on Tuesday morning. What we know: The crash happened around 8 a.m. on eastbound I-30 near Cherry Lane. Fort Worth police said the driver of a stalled 18-wheeler was outside his vehicle when another truck sideswiped him. He died at the scene. Images from SKY 4 showed the big rig on the side of the freeway, along with several police vehicles and wreckers.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A Houston couple says their 24-year-old grandson was “only trying to help” when he was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday. Lawanna and Lorick Jeffery are mourning the loss of Sincere Barrette, who authorities say was hit just after 5 a.m. along the 610 Loop near the Galleria area. According to Houston police, Barrette had been involved in a minor crash while attempting to move onto the freeway shoulder.

Richland County, Ohio (March 25, 2026) — A 73-year-old man was critically injured, and a 75-year-old woman was hurt after a box truck struck their parked vehicle along Interstate 71, according to authorities. The victims were identified as Harold Merz and Brenda Merz, both of Westerville. The crash occurred along northbound Interstate 71 in Richland County. Incident Details: According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Merzes were inside a parked 2021 Toyota RAV4 on the right shoulder of the interstate when the crash occurred.

A man has died after an early morning crash that blocked all lanes along Interstate 80 in Solano County on Monday. The crash was first reported just before 3 a.m. near Cherry Glen Road. California Highway Patrol says it appears a driver was involved in a crash that disabled their car. Their car was then struck by another vehicle – leaving the initial driver hurt on the road. Officers believe the driver was then run over by another car, and possibly a second one was well.

What we know: California Highway Patrol officials said the crashes were reported just before midnight Sunday on the westbound side of the freeway near the Fourth Street exit. Officials said in the first crash, a vehicle crashed with a disabled car that was parked on the right shoulder.

Mercer County, NJ (March 30, 2026) – A man from Delaware suffered serious injuries after a crash involving a tractor-trailer Saturday night, March 28, on the New Jersey Turnpike in Robbinsville Township. The incident occurred around 8:22 p.m. on the northbound outer roadway near milepost 62.1. New Jersey State Police said the crash happened when a Chrysler van became disabled and stopped in the roadway. A northbound Freightliner tractor-trailer then struck the van, causing both vehicles to catch fire.

One person was transported to the hospital after crashing into a police vehicle early Sunday morning, the Arlington Police Department confirmed. Officials said, at about 4 a.m., an officer who was traveling westbound along I-30 near the Arlington and Grand Prairie line spotted a disabled vehicle in the main lanes. That officer turned on their overhead lights and positioned the patrol vehicle to block the lanes of traffic for safety.

The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, in the southbound lanes of US 67 at Main Street, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on the scene to find that several crashes had occurred in the area, the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.

SAN ANTONIO — Two men were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash while jump-starting a vehicle on the city’s South Side. The incident occurred Saturday night around 9:24 p.m. on the 800 block of Probandt Street, where a major accident was reported. According to SAPD, two men were trying to jump-start a vehicle in the northbound lanes of the location when a dark-colored Jeep struck the disabled vehicle and both individuals. The impact allegedly threw the victims into the roadway.

The preliminary investigation showed a BMW was traveling too fast for the icy road conditions, lost control and crashed. Several other vehicles then lost control and crashed into each other.
