School Bus involved in US 26 crash east of Idaho Falls
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI)— A school bus with students was hit from behind in a crash along Highway 26 near 45th East, east of Idaho Falls. Idaho State Police say the crash happened at approximately 6:48 a.m. while the school bus was stopped to pick up children. A 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by a Ririe woman, was heading west when she didn’t stop for the school bus, which had its lights activated.

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP). The incident occured at around 2:00 p.m. on East Bobo Newsom Highway near Narrow Bridge Road Troopers said two vehicles were involved: a 1996 Ford RV and a 2016 Ford Explorer. The RV was reportedly disabled in the roadway on East Bobo Newsom Highway, headed west. The Explorer was also travelling west when it struck the RV from behind.

(WWSB) - Two people were killed early Sunday in a multivehicle crash involving a disabled commuter bus on Interstate 75 in Broward County that shut down all southbound lanes for nearly six hours, Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said. The crash happened about 2:18 a.m. Sunday on southbound I-75 near mile marker 26, according to FHP. FHP said a 2001 Vanhool commuter bus was disabled and stopped in the outside lane of the interstate.

A person is dead after a crash involving a pedestrian in Montgomery County, Maryland, late Thursday night, as Maryland State Police work to identify a driver who fled the scene. Officials said shortly after 10 p.m. that the crash took place before Exit 33 to Maryland Route 185 (Connecticut Avenue). Troopers from the Maryland State Police (MSP) Rockville Barrack responded after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck in the roadway.

An investigation continues after several crashes happened on Interstate 35 near BETO Junction shortly after 6 am Friday. The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office says a southbound car hit a deer and was disabled on the Interstate. The car’s driver saw two semi trucks approaching. As the driver ran towards the median to avoid the large trucks, one of the semis hit the disabled car, pushed it almost through the median to the northbound side of the highway and overturned.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A three-vehicle crash on I-85 South killed a man after a tractor-trailer struck a vehicle that had stopped on the road following an earlier collision, state troopers said. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, around 1 a.m., two cars were both traveling on I-85 South when they collided near MM 78. One of the vehicles came to rest off the shoulder, while the other vehicle stopped on the interstate.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. — A driver died when their vehicle crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was illegally parked along Interstate 85, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Troopers said the crash happened about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday at the rest stop near mile marker 24. The coroner said that the victim was driving on I-85 when he went off the right side of the road and crashed into the back of a parked tractor-trailer.
