A man was killed in Decatur when he was struck by a pickup truck while changing a tire early Sunday morning. Two men stopped in the southbound lane of US-31 near Hunter Lane after one of the tires on the sedan they were driving went flat. While they were changing the tire, a pickup truck hit the sedan, killing 49-year-old Carlos Ballentine of Pulaski, Tenn., according to the Decatur Police Department.

A 52-year-old Queens man was struck and killed by a Tesla driver as he tried to fix a flat tire on his vehicle on the shoulder of the Long Island Expressway early Monday, police say. Jean Louis was stuck on the left shoulder of the westbound side of the highway before the College Point Boulevard exit when he was hit shortly after midnight. Responding officers found Louis, of Cambria Heights, lying on the ground with severe trauma to his body.

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) – A driver was killed in a fiery crash on Highway 225 at Beltway 8 early Thursday morning in Pasadena. Fire officials say a car was stalled in a center lane on the westbound side of the freeway when a driver in a Jeep coming over the hill rear-ended it. Authorities say the stopped car had its hazard lights on. The crash caused both cars to catch fire.

(WTNH)– A Pennsylvania man is dead after being struck by a car on Route 15 Sunday morning.State police report early Sunday morning, 38-year-old Mac Paul Tillery, of Philadelphia, PA, was stopped in the left lane of Route 15 northbound, north of Exit 58, when a Nissan Rogue driven by Juan Ponce, 25, of Milford, CT, struck the rear-end of Tillery’s vehicle and hit him. State Troopers report Tillery died on the scene as a result of being struck.

TAMPA, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a Road Ranger truck on the shoulder of the Howard Frankland bridge, then abandoned her car and got into another vehicle to flee the scene. Troopers said the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday eastbound on I-275 near mile marker 37, where the Florida Road Ranger truck had stopped on the outside shoulder to help a disabled vehicle.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is looking for possible witnesses to a fatal crash that occurred July 12. Trooper Joshua Christian of the Traffic Homicide Unit said that morning, a yellow and black dump truck was stopped on the shoulder on Interstate 35 northbound around the 51.7 mile marker. Christian said the driver of the dump truck stepped out of the car to work on it. A witness reportedly saw a semi truck drive behind the dump truck and hit the driver.

Colorado Springs, CO (July 23, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Tuesday evening in the Colorado Springs area left several people injured. At around 9:20 p.m., on July 20, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 25. Reports from authorities show that a car was traveling on the southbound side of Interstate 25 when it struck a deer on the stretch of road between Fillmore Street and Garden of the Gods Road.
