Man struck by truck in East Northport
A man was struck by a pickup truck on Pulaski Road in East Northport on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said. A man was driving a 2020 Dodge pickup truck northbound on Pulaski Road, near North Hill Drive, at about 8:37 a.m., when it struck a man standing near a trailer on the side of the road and the Dodge overturned, police said. Be careful driving early morning and at dusk!

Hudspeth County, TX – November 8, 2021, 38-year-old Christian Esparza was killed when a van struck his disabled pickup on U.S. Highway 62/180 in Hudspeth County. Authorities say the incident happened Monday morning along US-62/180, roughly 34 miles west of Dell City. Preliminary investigation suggests Esparza’s Chevrolet pickup broke down in the eastbound lanes of the highway. Not long after it was struck by a late-model transport van, causing the pickup to catch fire.

A second person has died after a fatal crash on Interstate 495 that involved five cars, including one pulling a trailer and another person outside their vehicle in Raynham on Tuesday, police say. At around 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 9, Massachusetts State Police Troopers responded to a multiple-vehicle crash around exit 22. Lauren Dyer, 62, of Braintree, who was driving a pickup truck, was pronounced dead at the scene after being crushed between two vehicles.

Montgomery County, TX – August 10, 2021, Victor Gamez Rivera and another person were injured following an accident where a vehicle rear-ended a truck. Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 9:45 a.m. along I-69 in the area of Wilshire Drive. Authorities said that 41-year-old Victor Gamez Rivera was in a Chevy pickup traveling northbound on the interstate. Ahead, a truck was disabled in a lane of travel. Police say that Rivera failed to avoid the truck and crashed into it.

A truck driver’s dash cam captured the moment that a pickup driver failed to spot a rolled over big rig and crashed into the disabled vehicle at highway speed. “Eastbound on I-20, an F150 going about 80 or more MPH hits a tractor-trailer that has been laid over. The F150 hits the unit so hard the pickup truck lifts the tractor and trailer and puts it back on its wheels,” the dash cammer said.

ELLSWORTH COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just before 2p.m. Tuesday in Ellsworth County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1986 Mercury Cougar driven by Scott J. Compitello, 46, Hill City, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of Sylvan Grove. The car rear-ended the trailer of a 2018 Peterbilt semi driven by Stephan Ray Fulk Sr., 48, Hamton, Arkansas, who was stopped on the shoulder of the interstate.

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - A man who ran off the road was rescued early Tuesday morning after another vehicle passing by saw the stranded car stuck in the trees. The vehicle was found upside down in the woods on I-10 near mile marker 28 around 4am Tuesday. A passerby saw the car and alerted authorities after finding the driver still trapped inside the vehicle. Harrison County Fire Rescue, along with CRTC and Mississippi Highway Patrol, worked together to get the man out of the car.

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. — A woman who police have been searching for nearly a day has been found alive off of Interstate 65 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Nora Thompson was driving when she went off of the road on Monday. Shepherdsville Police Chief Rick McCubbin said they received a call around 8 p.m. that night from a disoriented Thompson. They think the crash happened as early as 3:45 p.m. She left the roadway near a ramp and took out a lamppost, police said.

Sunday morning collision was along Highway 395 PASCO, WA, (November 07, 2021) - The Washington State Patrol continues to investigate a pedestrian crash Sunday morning that claimed the life of a 46-year-old Sunnyside man. The crash happened approximately 11 north of Pasco. Troopers said Andres Trujilla stopped his Dodge Ram pickup truck along the shoulder of southbound Highway 395 to secure a load on his trailer. At approximately 11 a.m., Trujilla was hit by a Ford pickup hauling a trailer.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-71 in Perry Township around 2:30 p.m. OSHP said 65-year-old James Covrett was outside of his vehicle changing a tire on the horse trailer he was hauling when the semi-truck traveled off the right side of the road, hitting Covrett and the trailer.
