Man killed in I-8 multi-vehicle crash identified
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A multi-vehicle collision last week on westbound Interstate 8 near San Diego State University resulted in the death of a man. Tobin Alan Armstrong, 43, was identified as the deceased, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said on its website. On the morning of Jan. 26, a pickup truck stalled on the left shoulder of westbound I-8, located just east of the Waring Road off-ramp.

TWIN BRIDGES — A man was hit by a car while he was putting chains on his own vehicle’s tires on Highway 50 in El Dorado County, officials said Friday. The California Highway Patrol’s South Lake Tahoe division said it happened along a curve on the eastbound side of the highway in the Twin Bridges area near Slippery Ford Road. A man had parked his silver Nissan Rogue on the shoulder and was putting chains on the left rear tire when he was hit by a red Subaru Impreza, the CHP said.

FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after a serious three-car crash on I-95 North in Foxboro. Massachusetts State Police, along with Foxboro fire and EMS, responded to the scene near mile marker 13.3 just before 10 p.m. Police said the preliminary investigation indicated that an Audi sedan experienced car trouble on the highway. As the car slowed down and the driver called 911 for help, a Tesla crashed into its rear end.

Traffic stalled on southbound Interstate 95 in Northern Virginia with delays stretching from Lorton to Dumfries following a deadly crash Tuesday. Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that happened just after 2:30 p.m. on the southbound 95 Express Lanes at the 151 mile marker in Prince William County. Authorities said a Lexus RX had stopped on the right shoulder of the express lanes when it was slammed into by a Ford F-250 when the Ford veered off the right side of the road.

Zamora was the repair truck driver, while de Lear was driving the Toyota. Palm Desert, CA — February 4, 2025, two people were killed in a truck accident at about 1 p.m. on Interstate 10/Sono Bono Memorial Freeway. The Toyota driver and the repair truck driver, who was a pedestrian at the time of the crash, died at the scene, according to authorities.

Nashville, Tenn. (WZTV) — A crash involving a semi-truck has closed several lanes of I-40 W at mile marker 202 in West Nashville.
