Victim of deadly Rock Hill interstate crash identified
ROCK HILL, S.C. — A woman who was killed Friday morning on Interstate 77 in Rock Hill has been identified. Katherine Y. Mendoza Amador, 37, of Rock Hill, had been driving a 2014 Jeep Wrangler that was pulling a trailer, according to the York County Coroner’s office. Authorities say she stepped out of her vehicle just before 10:30 a.m., while it was in the road, because the trailer had become loose near mile marker 82.

Driver Dead After Crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth Fort Worth, TX (March 31, 2026) – Police are investigating a deadly truck crash on Interstate 30 that killed an 18-wheeler driver Tuesday morning in Fort Worth. The collision happened at about 8 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 30 near Cherry Lane. According to Fort Worth police, the driver of a stalled 18-wheeler had exited his truck when another truck sideswiped him.

Two people were seriously injured following multiple crashes involving tractor-trailers early Friday morning in Saline County, Arkansas. The first crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. when a semitrailer overturned on Interstate 30 westbound, leading to a second 18-wheeler colliding with the overturned truck. Shortly after, another crash took place nearby when a tractor-trailer struck a pickup truck, pushing it into a separate semitrailer. An additional 18-wheeler then hit a semitrailer and overturned, leaving that driver injured.

ST. LOUIS — A woman who was trying to help a stranger who crashed on Interstate 70 Friday morning was struck and killed by another vehicle. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Accident Reconstruction investigators were called at about 1:15 a.m. Friday to a pedestrian crash on eastbound I-70 at Union Boulevard. In an update Friday morning, police said a Ford Explorer crashed on the wet highway and came to a stop in the roadway.

A Clifton police officer is recovering after being struck by a vehicle on Route 21 while assisting a disabled vehicle Wednesday night. Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson said the incident happened at about 9:38 p.m. on Route 21 near Route 46. The officer was in the area assisting a motorist with a disabled vehicle on the side of the road. Anderson said traffic was slow in the area due to congestion from the broken-down car.

The crash forced troopers to shut down the roadway until around 4 a.m. According to PSP, a tractor trailer suffered a mechanical failure and came to a stop in the center lane around mile marker #39.

PHOENIX – A driver was struck and killed after getting into a collision and running into traffic on US 60 in Mesa on Wednesday morning, authorities said. A Jeep SUV rear-ended a commercial vehicle on eastbound US 60 near Higley Road shortly after 9 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Public safety. After the collision, the SUV driver pulled over in front of the commercial vehicle, just west of the Higley Road off-ramp.

NEWPORT, Maine (WGME) – Police say a New Hampshire man was killed in a crash involving a stopped vehicle and a tractor-trailer on I-95 in Newport. Maine State Police say they got reports about a Chevrolet Volt stopped in the travel lane of I-95 in Newport around 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday. While troopers were responding to the scene, the Chevrolet Volt was hit by a tractor-trailer. Troopers say the car driven by 33-year-old Juan Guallpa of Lempster, New Hampshire, had been stopped in the northbound travel lane when it was rear-ended by a Freightliner tractor-trailer.
