Vehicle smashes into State Patrol vehicle spinning it 75-feet

DULUTH, Min. – A vehicle crashed into a Minnesota State Patrol vehicle on Highway 53, spinning it 75-feet from the impact site. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash that happened just after 11am on Monday, July 28, 2025. They’re reporting the Trooper’s vehicle was struck by another motorist while the trooper was temporarily stopping traffic. The Trooper was using his fully marked patrol vehicle and emergency lights activated.

1 dead in multi-vehicle crash on North Freeway at Mount Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – At least one person was killed Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the North Freeway, which shut the northbound lanes for hours. According to the Houston Police Department, the crash, which happened at about 3:45 a.m., involved multiple vehicles. At some point during the incident, a person got out of their vehicle and was hit. This caused the highway to be shut down for about five hours, but lanes were reopened just before 9 a.

Near-fatal crash on U.S. 35 prompts changes after semi hits man

Changes are being made to a busy stretch of U.S. 35 in Greene County, Ohio, following a serious crash that left a man hospitalized. The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified visibility issues on this portion of the highway after a semi-truck hit a man fueling his pickup truck, sending him over a guardrail and causing serious injuries. Lieutenant Joseph Weeks of the Ohio State Highway Patrol explained that tall grass along the curve of the road created a blind spot, contributing to the crash.

Two men suffered serious injuries after a vehicle lost control and struck the parked car they were standing by on the shoulder of K18 Highway – a third was injured after driving into the accident debris field. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Friday night just before midnight, 40-year-old Rod Marti of Milwaukee, WI and 29-year-old Koltyn Moore of Manhattan, KS were standing in front of a 2007 Pontiac G6 with the flashers on when it was struck by a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer.

Crash on I-95 in Brevard County kills man, injures woman, troopers say

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A crash Saturday morning in Brevard County killed a man, left a woman with serious injuries and forced the hourslong closure of all southbound lanes of Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 8:46 a.m. at mile marker 230, near Mims, troopers said. According to an FHP crash report, the crash involved a pickup truck, a tractor-trailer, and a sedan. The pickup truck was traveling south on I-95 in the outside lane while the sedan traveled south in the center lane, troopers said, adding the tractor-trailer was parked on the outside shoulder.

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed and another person was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 95 in Florence County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. It happened at about 4:20 a.m. Friday at mile marker 152, Cpl. David Jones said. A 2003 Honda Civic was disabled on the shoulder when it was hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. That vehicle, a 2006 Chrysler 300 four-door, hit the Civic after traveling off the right side of the road, Jones said.

Father and son identified as 2 killed in SC pileup on I-95

YEMASSEE — A Florida father and son killed in a 14-car pileup on Interstate 95 in the S.C. Lowcountry have been identified. William Britt, 68, and his son Patrick Britt, 30, both of Jacksonville, died at the scene on July 22, according to the Colleton County coroner. Investigators are still working to determine details of the deadly multi-vehicle crash on heavily traveled I-95 that killed the men and injured 26 others.

FHP: Navarre man died in Friday morning crash on I-10 in Jackson County

The 57-year-old man was driving a SUV westbound in the outside lane when it approached a second vehicle, a disabled semi-truck parked partially on the north paved should and partially in the outside westbound lane, facing west. According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 57-year-old man failed to slow down or merge into the inside lane to avoid the disabled vehicle. As a result, the SUV first struck a reflector sign located on the north fog line of the roadway.

Pecos, TX — March 23, 2025, a Michigan man was injured in a truck accident at about 1:15 a.m. on U.S. Route 285 north of Wells Road. A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2007 GMC Yukon was heading north when it crashed into the trailer of a semi-truck parked near North Side Park. The GMC driver, a Michigan man whose name has not been released yet, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

Winona woman hit and killed while walking across US Highway 61

WINONA COUNTY, Minn. – A southeast Minnesota woman was killed Thursday when she exited her vehicle after crashing. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened around 4:40 am at the intersection of US Highway 61 and Winona County Road 7. Investigators say a passenger car was heading east, crossed the highway, and crashed into the ditch. The State Patrol says the driver of the car, Lois Irene Davis, 72 of Winona, got out of the vehicle and walked across US Highway 61.
