Pedestrian struck and killed by SUV after exiting crashed vehicle on I-10
SAN ANTONIO — One person was struck and killed after they got out of their vehicle that crashed on IH-10 East and attempted to cross the highway. The crash happened around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of IH-10 West near East Houston Street. According to the San Antonio Police Department, a silver Audi sedan was involved in a single car crash on IH-10 East westbound in which the car veered off the roadway and stopped on the left grassy shoulder of the highway.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A stranded driver was struck and killed on Interstate 270 after getting out of their vehicle Thursday morning. The Missouri Department of Transportation said the incident happened on eastbound I-270 near West Florissant Avenue at about 5:40 a.m. Three lanes of the highway were closed as of 6:15 while crews responded to the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a car was stranded on the shoulder of the highway.

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - State officials have reported a deadly crash on a two-lane road in rural Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly before 7 p.m. on Nov. 4. GEORGETOWN, Del. – The Delaware State Police (DSP) are investigating a pedestrian crash that left a Georgetown Fire Company Police Officer with critical injuries on Monday night. SALT LAKE CITY — A woman is dead after crashing into a dump truck near Point of the Mountain on Interstate 15 Tuesday evening. According to Sgt. Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:10 p.m. near mile marker 286. Alexander said the dump truck was stopped on the right shoulder of the road when it was struck by a car. The female driver of the car sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

LAFAYETTE, IN — Mark Thompson of Ohio slowed or stopped his Audi on Interstate 65 about 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, because of a deer, Indiana State Police said Monday. They did not say whether Thompson struck the deer or slowed and avoided it. While slowed or stopped, a southbound semi slammed into the back of Thompson’s car, killing him and injuring his passenger, Samuel Casim from Toledo, Ohio, who was rushed to a Lafayette-area hospital.
